This award celebrated businesses promoting social mobility and removing barriers to employment and progression for disadvantaged, underrepresented or minority groups, creating a more diverse and inclusive London workforce.

The Social Impact Award was for businesses multiplying their impact in Greater London by enabling others to succeed.

Heart of the City Award

This award celebrated companies in Greater London who started to make responsible business, social impact and CSR activities a meaningful part of their business in the last three years.

The Lord Mayor's Award

The Lord Mayor’s Special Award for Leadership in Financial Literacy

This award drew on one of the 2023 mayoral theme’s priorities – Financial Inclusion for All – which focussed on promoting financial education in order to help people improve their mastery of money and, in turn, improve their social mobility.

Social Impact Leadership Award

This special award was for an individual within a company who has made an outstanding contribution to delivering social impact.

Small Business Friendly Awards

The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards evaluated businesses achievements relative to their size and resources. Previous SME winners included Impact Creative Recruitment, Keytree, Alium Partners and Assael Architecture.

Environmental Activities

The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards did not recognise or reward environmental initiatives. The City of London Corporation does however operate the Clean City Awards, which do reward green practices.
