Applications are now open for the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards 2013. Celebrating Corporate Community Involvement (CCI) in Greater London for over 25 years, the awards are open to businesses from all sectors, of all sizes and types of budgets, as well as charities and public bodies.
Application from Small and Medium-sized Enterprises are particularly welcome; these applications are judged separately from large business applications.
Activities can include charity partnerships, employee volunteering, employability initiatives and local purchasing, which can be entered into six different categories.
Making the application is easy and free of charge. Just go to the Apply for an Awards section for all the details. To help applicants write the best possible applications, free workshops will be held on 23 April and 3 May. All applicants also receive a complimentary seat at the Awards dinner at the Mansion House on 2 October 2013.
Shortlisted businesses and winners benefit from wide media coverage, as well as recognition internally by senior management and externally amongst peers, competitors and within the community. A Lord Mayor’s Dragon Award distinguishes your organisation, providing an edge that may lead to gaining new business.
