Judging line-up revealed: the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards 2023

The Dragon Awards are delighted to reveal the line-up of this year’s judges including internationally renowned business leaders, entrepreneurs, and responsible business experts.

The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards uniquely celebrates businesses that are leading the way to create profound social impact for their people and communities: looking at inclusivity, social mobility, financial literacy and more.

 

Hosted and Chaired annually by the Lord Mayor of the City of London, the Lord Mayor Alderman Nicholas Lyons will be joined by high-profile leaders who will be judging the entries and welcoming shortlisted applicants at the Awards Ceremony at the Mansion House in October.

 

This year’s Final Judges include:

  • Sophie Hutcherson, Non Executive Director, Executive Coach, FCA
  • Aedamar Comiskey, Senior Partner, Linklaters
  • Clare Woodman, Head of EMEA and CEO, Morgan Stanley & Co International PLC
  • Antony Impey MBE, Chief Executive, Be the Business
  • Sushil Saluja, Chair, Heart of the City
  • Sir Ken Olisa OBE, Founder and Chairman, Restoration Partners
  • Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL, Chef Patron, Café Spice Namaste Group

 

The Final Judges are joined by Preliminary Judges – leading experts in responsible business from a range of sectors and business sizes – including David Adair, Head of Community Affairs at PwC, Sanjay Lobo, CEO at onHand and Julie Baker, Head of Enterprise and Climate Engagement and Partnerships at Natwest Group.

Introducing The Dragon Awards 2023 compère: Tim Campbell MBE

 

Entrepreneur, business leader and passionate advocate of talent and inclusion, Tim Campbell MBE will be returning as both compère and judge for this year’s Dragon Awards.

 

Amongst his many roles, Tim is a representative for the UK Government and City of London on business delegations, founder of the ground-breaking charity ‘Bright Ideas Trust’ and has also recently joined Lord Alan Sugar as his advisor on the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’.

 

The Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards are uniquely dedicated to shining a light on the businesses and individuals that go above and beyond to deliver meaningful and enduring social impact.

 

The Awards are open to businesses of all sizes and in all sectors, and are organised by Heart of the City, the City Corporation-funded charity which supports hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises with their responsible business programme.
